Course overview
This course is specifically designed to cover the fire hazards
and risks found in the construction industry. Experienced fire
training professionals provide an exciting training experience
using the latest equipment and focusing on the teaching of
realistic fire management techniques. The delegates will be
taught the correct selection and use of fire extinguishers
involving a practical demonstration where delegates use a variety
of extinguishers.
Who is it for?
The course is intended for those who are responsible for fire
safety management and the safe evacuation of personnel. On
smaller sites this may be the site manager and their deputy
but on larger sites this would be people with a supervisory
role.

Course objectives
By the end of the course the delegates will have been given
a working knowledge of fire safety procedures/policy and will
have the skills necessary to provide assistance to the fire
safety manager.
Assessment
Delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.
Duration
6 hours (1 day)
This course can be run in-house for up to 12 delegates.
