CIEH Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene Update

Course Overview

In line with the CIEH, Ouch recommends refresher training every three years and this course helps to update existing food handling knowledge. The course aims to reinforce good hygiene principles and provides students with the opportunity of putting their knowledge into practice through eleven practical exercises.

Who is it for?

Delegates need a CIEH Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene or equivalent qualifications from other awarding bodies.

Food Safety controls.
Legal compliance

Course Objectives

By the end of the course the delegate will continue to appreciate the measures required to restrict contamination and the outbreak of food poisoning.

Duration

3 hours (normally ½ day)

This course can be run in-house for up to 15 delegates or individuals can attend our open courses.

Assessment

Successful candidates will receive a full and current CIEH Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene after a multiple-choice exam.
