These new qualifications have been created to address the new National Occupational Standards that recognise the differing nature of industry sectors and so increase the effectiveness of the training. In line with this demand, the CIEH Level 2 Awards in Food Safety have been designed to cover the food safety needs of the catering, manufacturing and retail sectors.
New Levels
In response to the requirements of the Sector Skills Councils and the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA), these new sector-specific Level 2 Awards in Food Safety will replace the CIEH Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene.
