Course Overview
This QCF accredited course covers the supervisor's role in ensuring compliance with UK and European food safety legislation and the importance of recognising and minimising the risk of contamination in food retail outlets.

The course is suitable for anyone working in a supervisory position in a food retail outlet.

Course Objectives
By the end of the course the delegate will be able to understand the supervisor's role in ensuring good food safety, high standards of hygiene, effective pest control, and understanding the principles of the HACCP system and auditing procedures.
Assessment
Delegates take a multiple-choice exam and successful delegates receive a CIEH certificate.
Duration
18 hours (normally 3 days)
This course can be run in-house for up to 15 delegates.
