Abrasive Wheels Operators Certificate

This course introduces students to the hazards associated with the storage and use of abrasive wheels, including practical demonstrations. A Schedule of Training is a legal requirement for all those who mount abrasive wheels and this course helps employers meet their duties.

Who is it for?

Any staff who are required to store or mount abrasive wheels or those requiring familiarisation with the Regulations.

Course Objectives

Students will understand the various classes of abrasive wheels and the importance of appropriate guarding, mounting and handling.

Assessment

Delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.

Course Duration

3.5 hours - this course can be run in-house for up to 12 delegates.
