Course Overview

This course builds upon the content of the Introduction to Manual Handling course with greater emphasis on the supervision and management of manual handling tasks. The correct management of manual handling can often avoid the need for hazardous manual handling operations. The interactive training style provides practical solutions to manual handling issues.

Course Objectives

Successful delegates will be able to:

  • Explain how manual handling can cause injury and give examples

  • Assist management in the undertaking and revision of manual handling assessments
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the main provisions of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations

This course can be run in-house for up to 15 delegates or individuals can attend our open courses

Assessment

Delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.
